I'm disabled with Parkinson Disease. I was told it is likely that it was cause by something I was exposed to. The Medical Establishment knows almost nothing about the causes of PD. So I had to retired earlier and I feel like a burden on our system. So I get Social Security and the Medicare with Part D. I have quite a few Medications that I need to feel like there is a enough quality in my day to stay here and go on. I've started to run into a problem lately. I'm not alone, 35 million of my fellow Americans have encountered this, Not being able to buy expensive medications in the US. I have not changed my meds for 5 years. With same dosages of generic drugs. The cost has gone up $150 more a year the last 3 years. The PD I have is getting worse so I need another drug, Azilect, its $ 609.00 for 30 1mg pills a month. There is a generic drug approved by the FDA for the same medication but no company at this time makes this drug in this country. It's the last straw financially for me. In looking into it, I'm forced to get some of my meds from a licensed Pharmacy in Canada. With no insurance I'm still saving myself $1900.00 dollars for a 3 Months supply. The great thing is, I'm saving more on 2 drugs($ 2200.00) without insurance. That is a big savings for the Medicare System. So I guess the question is, Why do I have to get my medications from other countries? The 3 parts of our government that are to insure that the powers are equal are now a four part system. Big business being the forth part! Fueling the GOP/Democrats, The White House and the Judicial system with big money. This has made the parasitic system that's manifested. Sucking the very marrow out of the people they have said they are their to help. What happen to our Government and the US of America.
GREED !!! Self-interest !!! GREED !!!
The only thing that will stop the Greed is if we rise up and stop it together. Tremors and all, I'll stand with anyone, as long as you don't mind my shaking with PD.
